6. St Germain Elderflower Liquer

With all my Christmas shopping done and dusted I can finally sit back and dream about all the pretty things I would like Santa to bring this year.. (I have been a good girl, I promise!)

A mix of beautiful accessories, skin care, sweet smells and, of course, alcohol are on my wish list this year!

What’s on your Christmas wish list?

(T-Shirt – Kenzo, Shorts – From Singapore, Clutch – Sportsgirl, Boots – Betts, Rings – Lovisa)

Believe it or not, I actually try not to spend too much money on clothes. A need to pay a mortgage and a constant need to buy more clothes make this a necessity.
For some reason though, the humble t-shirt escapes this category. I don’t know how my mind justifies it. Perhaps it’s the fact that a good quality t-shirt can transcend many seasons or the fact that the ‘casual’ nature of the t-shirt means that it is destined to be worn so much more than that glittery sequin mini skirt (although, I suppose you could wear a sequin mini skirt on your weekly food shop?!)

Whatever the reason, this Kenzo tee from Green With Envy Boutique is the latest addition to my wardrobe, and I have too say I am quite pleased about it!!

Antipodium has popped up in Claremont Quarter, just in time for Christmas!

On Friday night I attended the pop-up stores launch party and immersed myself in the quirky and fashionable world of Antipodium.
Bold colour combinations, interesting prints and beautiful organza pieces were seen throughout the store.
I particularly loved the unique ‘Candid Camera’ print blouse and the daring, magenta, glossy patent dress.

The pop up store, situated on St Quentins Ave, is open until the 17th December so be sure to check it out, before it’s gone!

At the top of my swimwear wish list this Summer is, well, pretty much everything by Triangl Swimwear.

What is not to love about these neoprene bundles of swimwear joy. Good coverage, mesh detail, metallic options and top styles to suit most bust sizes!! I will definitely be rocking at least one of these styles come Summer.

P.S. If any of my family are reading, these would be THE perfect Birthday gift!!!

(Shorts – Paint it Red at Myer $49.95, Top – Dotti $39.95, Necklace (worn on the wrist) – Lovisa $10, Flower Headband – Lovisa $10, Belt – Forever New – $19.95, Shoes – Dotti $19.95)

Straight off the back of the epic Restyle outfit challenge, I have undertaken another little outfit challenge for the blog (just in case you were having withdrawals from Restyle!!)

The scene was set: A $150 budget, a ‘Vintage Inspired’ theme and a baby free day at Karrinyup Shopping Centre. After hours of blissfully browsing the stores at Karrinyup, I present you my $149.80 outfit!! Just scraping in under budget and proving you can create an entire outfit for under $150!!

I chose these bright, high-waisted shorts by new Aussie label, Paint It Red, because they are the perfect fit and such a fabulous Spring colour. (I also may have been swayed by the fact that they have a matching jacket.. I’m a little short suit obsessed at the moment!)
I teamed the shorts with this pretty lace top from Dotti, (and restrained myself from adding the matching blazer because that would have totally blown the budget!) added a few Spring accessory essentials: the jelly sandal and the flower crown, and my outfit was complete!!

PS. Just in case you needed more reasons to shop, Karrinyup Shopping Centre has just given you THE perfect excuse to hit the shops. They are giving away a Renault Clio when you spend over $100 at participating stores!! For more information head here
You’re welcome!!

What do you think of the style of these pants? Is it something you would wear? I would love to hear your feedback on these.. my first design attempt!!

What to Wear: Perth Cup

Day at the races

The biggest event of the Perth Racing Festival is coming up fast. For those of you stuck on what to wear to this year’s Perth Cup I have put together a what to wear guide.
You’re welcome!!
1. Bardot Peplum Dress – A simple dress that doesn’t show to much skin is a race day must.
2. Mimco Feather Veil – I am not a fan of the fascinator so when I saw Mimco’s feather veil it instantly captured my heart!  It is the perfect head piece for the anti-fascintator fashionista.
3. Turquoise Diva Necklace – A black and white dress calls for a colourful statement necklace. Bright Summer colours are a must and the bigger the better!
4. Kotur Pearce Clutch – A metallic hard case clutch with just enough room for the race day essentials. Lipstick, powder and a pencil (for filling in the betting cards!!)
5. Guiseppe Zanotti Wedges – A comfortable wedge shoe. No explanation necessary here but I will give a small hint: Grass everywhere.
