Hello Parry. Two words you have heard quite a bit around here lately, (Ahem.. here and here in case you missed it!) and with good reason too. The chic online store is a favourite of mine and it’s easy to see why. On trend, wearable fashion at great prices, hello! What’s not to love?

On Saturday, Fashion Central was swarming with a rather well dressed bunch of Hello Parry fans who turned out for the show. The hottest day on record for September made the perfect backdrop (and let’s be honest, a ridiculously hot tent) for the Spring/Summer collections. Models adorned in pretty pastels, graphic prints and monochrome looks bopped down the runway to blaring tunes.

The show left me feeling quite excited about the warmer weather and I definitely have my eye on more than a few things in store, that oversized polka dot clutch for example!!

Stay tuned for more from the Telstra Perth Fashion Festival over the next few days, including all the street style snaps from Fashion Central.

Powder Blue

Wearing: Hello Parry Coat, Sripe Tee (similar here and here), Shorts (similar here), Spurr Boots,  River Island Fedora.

And so my pastel obsession continues…

My hunt for the perfect pastel coat ended when the Elly Powder Blue Coat popped up on Hello Parry’s website recently. I have been crushing on all things pastel this season so was pretty damn excited when I came across it! The coat actually sold out in less than a day so I had to wait another week before I could get my hands on it, which gave me a week to daydream and plan the million and one outfits I would create around it.
Consider this outfit number one, with plenty more to come!

Texture Time

(Wearing: Hello Parry Skirt,  Sportsgirl Top, Witchery Clutch.)

Is is that time of the year again… Hands up who has already eaten practically their own weight in chocolate. *Guiltily raises hand.* There is just something about those creamy, velvety balls of deliciousness I can not resist… and it is not even Easter yet! Sigh..
I’m not entirely sure how this outfit relates to Easter eggs (except for the fact that I most likely ate them on this particular day!) but honestly my mind will not stop thinking about them! I am wearing a recent purchase from Sportsgirl, the croc textured tee. I am quite smitten with a texture tee at the moment! I love that it gives an otherwise simple item an interesting edge. Don’t you agree?

Anyway, I hope everyone has some fun in store for the four day weekend ahead of us, I certainly do.*

*My plans may or may not revolve around eating chocolate!

Got Swag

Hello Parry, Forever 21, Flare Skirt, Metallic Tshirt, Fashion, Outfit

(T-Shirt – Forever 21, Skirt – Hello Parry, Watch – Michael Kors, Necklace – Lovisa)

It’s Friday.. YAY! Even better, it’s Friday before a long weekend. Having an extra day in the weekend always seems to put everyone in a good mood, doesn’t it? If only every weekend was a long one…

This outfit was from last weekend, (the regular two day kind!) I still managed to make the most of it, despite it’s shortness. Kid’s parties, Christenings, family dinners and Swan Valley hangs all played a part.
Now, just imagine how much fun can be had with three days off!! (OK, clearly long weekends excite me a little too much!)

What are your plans for the long weekend??

Team Player

(T-Shirt – Hello Parry, Skirt – Dotti, Necklace – Collette, Clutch – Sportsgirl, Shoes – Dotti)

Today is the first day back to work for most people, my husband included.
I have to say I quite liked having him home for the holidays, not only for the extra hand around the house and of course spending quality time together but also the fact that having him home meant more opportunities to shoot outfit posts!! (Ahhh.. the priorities of a fashion blogger!)

This particular occasion was a casual lunch with friends at Feral Brewery in the Swan Valley. I sneakily packed my camera for a ‘quick photo shoot’ on the way home. I’m sure my husband sighs a little whenever I pull out the camera on such occasions but he always obliges and allows me to frolic about climbing on chairs etc. until I am satisfied I have enough to work with. (ie. Until he has taken about a million photos!!)

So, here is the first of many outfits taken over the Christmas break with plenty more to come!
