Who doesn’t love a good Polka Dot?? It is definitely one of my favourite patterns. So classic and always stylish.
I have to say I stepped a little out of my comfort zone with these pants. (Not with the polka dot aspect but with the wide leggedness!!) They are not something I would usually wear, being such a shorty, but I thought Restyle was the perfect time to experiment with new styles and try different things. What do you think?

And we’re off… Restyle has begun!!
I couldn’t think of a better way to start this challenge, than with a delicious, girly, pink outfit. I must admit, as much as I love the colour pink I actually do not wear a lot of it, so I was quite happy with today’s prompt as it gave me very good reason to buy some pink clothing.
Don’t forget to join in the fun and post your daily opshopped outfit to instagram, facebook or twitter using the hashtag #restyle2013. I can’t wait to see what you all come up with!!
Hope you enjoy my first look and make sure you check back daily because there is plenty more to come. (30 more to be exact!!)

Just a quick post to show my super casual outfit from Saturday’s blogger meet up (I know, I know, I’m not wearing heels… G.A.S.P!!!) Very out of character for me, but I’m blaming the fact that I had to wake up before 7am (on a Saturday!) to get to work and my brain was not capable of coming up with anything too exciting!!
P.S. Restyle starts in ONE week!! I hope you are all getting your op shopped outfits ready to take on the challenge.
A wedding in a tropical location calls for a light, bright, breezy outfit and flowers, somewhere. I managed to tick all those boxes with this little ensemble I put together for a friends wedding in Bali last week.
The wedding was held at a private villa in Tabanan. It was a little far from the main tourist areas but the countryside and ocean views surrounding the villa were the ideal backdrop for such a romantic occasion. It was a gorgeous affair and the most perfect way to end our holiday. (Although having to leave for the airport at 6am the next day, to make our flight home was probably not the greatest of ideas.)

Aren’t clouds amazing? There is just something about them that really fascinates me. No matter what they are doing, I am in awe. White, fluffy ones in a bright blue sky, pink, glowing ones next to a setting sun, you name it, I love it. The clouds in these photos were the perfect backdrop for this open landscape. They were dark and gloomy with a hint of a glow from the setting Sun’s reflection.
Ok, well I’ve just snapped out of it and realised I have written a whole blog post about clouds.. so, um yeah.. I think that’s enough cloud talk for one night. Cloud Addicts Anonymous is clearly calling my name.
Today’s Ways to Wear edition is all about white jeans.
I admit when I first saw these white jeans in Zara I was a bit wary. (What is it about wearing white that turns you into a clumsy slob?? Is there some unwritten rule that states you must spill whatever you are eating/drinking all over white clothing??*) However, I managed to overcome my slob related fears and I took these white jeans home. I am pleased to report we are very happy together! The fresh, crisp colour goes with practically everything. They can be dressed up with metallics and heels or kept casual with an oversized knit and sneakers. Happy days!
* Just for the record I did spill coffee on them the first day I wore them!!
Lately I have been trying very hard not to mindlessly shop and buy new things unnecessarily (yes, it has been very difficult!!) However, with a bulging wardrobe and two(!) extra racks in my clothes room I think I actually have more than enough clothing. So, instead of buying new things I have been trying extend the life of current pieces in my wardrobe by creating new looks.
To challenge myself and to hopefully inspire you, I thought I would start a weekly post on the blog, taking one piece of clothing from my wardrobe and creating three different looks.
This week I have decided to start a little simple and have used this black Quirky Circus scalloped, (p)leather mini skirt from Myer. I have tried to create three completely different looks and step outside my comfort zone a little to try new styles.
What do you think of my looks? What piece would you like to see me style in the future?

Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows everywhere.. Ok,well maybe just sunshine everywhere.. but that is good enough for me. I am loving these beautiful sunny days and wish they could last forever. There is just something about the sunshine that seems to make everything all right!
I have entered the above outfit in the ASOS State Of Fashion competition. Have you entered yet? The prize is a $1000 ASOS voucher and who wouldn’t kill for that! If you think my outfit it is totally awesome you can vote for it here.. (Search under the WA section) and while you are there, check out my other entry and submit your own A/W look too!!

I just couldn’t resist taking my new shirt out for a spin pretty much the second I received it. To be fair though, I had been waiting over four weeks for it to arrive (longest delivery ever!) so I had pretty much already planned about 101 outfits around it in anticipation!
I also couldn’t choose on the colour combo so of course, had to get two! Possibly a little excessive, but I am currently obsessing over printed casual tees at the moment so I’m sure they will both be a well loved addition to my wardrobe.
Monday is almost over.. we made it! Enjoy the rest of the week!!

It’s me.. in pants again! This time in a one-off pair I designed as part of a new vintage inspired range I am working on. I am so in love with this colour combination and the pattern on the fabric that I have actually decided to keep these for myself!! Oopsy!!
What do you think of the style of these pants? Is it something you would wear? I would love to hear your feedback on these.. my first design attempt!!
