A personal update and sharing some big news..
Sooooooo.. I may have been keeping a little secret. Well, it’s not really a secret anymore as I did make the announcement over on Instagram last week, but for those of you who missed it..
I’m pregnant! Yep, baby number two is on it’s way. Although, as you can see baby number one is not quite a baby anymore! It has been over six years!
So far I am feeling good, I mean as good as to be expected when your internal organs are shifting around your body, your hormones are going crazy and you literally have something growing inside you!
I have made it past the first trimester and have gained my energy (and my appetite!) back which I am thankful for. I plan on sticking to my regular fitness routine right the way through (or as long as I can anyway!) and up until now I have been able to. I generally lift weights 5 days a week and do a bit of cardio throughout the week. Both of which I have managed to continue, although I have dropped the amount of weights I use. As far as food goes, I have always eaten quite regularly (ie.. I’m starving every 2.5 hours! ha) so I guess my eating hasn’t changed too much. I have definitely added in a few extra calories though (mainly in the form of ice cream!!)
So basically my biggest issue at the moment is finding clothes that fit my ever expanding belly. I am way bigger than I was last time at this stage so it has been really hard to know what to buy and how long it will fit me for. Lets just say, stretchy dresses are my new best friend! Although, I do want to share my pregnancy style here, of course, even if it is proving to be quite a challenge to find things that suit my style right now.
Oh and in case you were wondering, we don’t know the sex of the baby yet, but we are definitely finding out! My scan is all booked in and now I just have to sit back and wait.. for 5 more weeks! Ahhh!
