Christmas is sneaking up on us so fast.. and I for one am definitely NOT ready! I mean I have done a lot of browsing and thinking about it, but not a whole lot of action! Eeeep!
Today I have for you the first of my two part gift guide series. I have separated them into two different categories to make it easier to shop. Today’s post focuses on finding the perfect gift for the homewares or tech lover in your life, or hey, even if you are looking for gifts to put on your own wishlist.. I got you!
Personally, I love receiving gifts for the home. Super stylish (and of course fragrant!) candles are always high on my list. I have so many but always need more because I use them so much!
Another good gift idea for the homewares obsessed is cute trinket/jewellery boxes and trays… anything that helps to organise pretty things in pretty ways is a winner.
Pot plants or even plants are also another great gift, if you ask me. (Probably because I am always killing my plants so I need more!) I love decorating my home with greenery and am always on the look out for modern pot plants to add to my collection.
I don’t really get into gadgets and tech too much but I do know that sleek, stylish designs are a must! My husband purchased a portable speaker that is bright red and let me you that thing sticks out so much in my home (and drives me nuts!!) just imagine how much better it would be if we had a cute pink one, like the one above! Sigh..
Another cool gift idea for the gadget lover, and one that is going straight onto my wishlist, is a polaroid camera. It’s a fun and easy way to actually print out your photos, and seriously, who does that anymore!
Lastly, if you don’t have time to browse and just need one store to get your gift requirements.. my top three stores for home and tech pressies are:
Shopbop – They have a huge range of cute trinket boxes and trays, plus fun books and a selection of quirky gifts too!
David Jones – They have all the latest and most stylish tech options plus SO MANY CANDLES!!
Country Road – They stock the most beautiful range of homewares and things for the home.
Now, I suppose I had better take some of my own advice then and hop to it!!
