Slowly beginning the transition to cooler weather with off the shoulder and ruffle sleeves…

Hello my loves.. I am back! Sorry for the extended absence around here, as I mentioned I had every intention of sticking to my regular posting schedule but unfortunately the wifi (or lack of it!) had other ideas. Even doing the simplest of things online took about 10 times longer with the super slow wifi at my hotels, so in the end I gave up and just succumbed to.. well, a relaxing holiday!
It is great to be back though, as much as I love a good holiday, I also love routine and structure in my days, so after two weeks in India followed by a quick stop over in KL (for shopping of course!) I am ready to get back to my everyday routine. (Yes, I am weird like that!) I can’t wait to share more from my trip and perhaps a shopping haul video, if you would like to see it?!
Anyway while I was gone, we had a season change here in Australia. Summer is gone (wahhh!) and it is now officially Autumn. I have a whole bunch of Autumn looks to share with you but first I will start with more of a transitional look. As much as I would love to jump straight into layers and knits, here in Perth it takes a good few months for the weather to cool down. In fact temps are still sitting around the mid 30’s at the moment so there is no chance of breaking out my new leather pants just yet! One way I will update my wardrobe though, is by incorporating more longer sleeve tops. Luckily it is still warm enough for off the shoulder style so this ruffle sleeve number works perfectly with shorts during the day or teamed with jeans for the slightly cooler evenings. There are so many great off the shoulder and statement ruffle sleeve options available in a longer sleeve length so I am pretty happy that my love affair can continue!
