New Year’s Eve Style: The Sparkly Dress & The Little Black Dress

Can you believe it? New Year’s Eve is tomorrow! Seriously 2016 has flown by, hasn’t it?!

Today I have for you my final two looks in my New Year’s Eve style series, featuring the LBD and the Sparkly dress. Two of my favourite styles!

You should know the magic of the LBD by now? That one piece you can rely on when nothing else seems to work! The LBD can be the perfect dress for anyone, whatever your shape or style, and then once you find THE ONE,  accessorising the LBD to suit your style is the fun part! I went for an oversized clutch and simple jewellery, then added a sparkly sequin jacket (because NYE!!), but the beauty of the LBD is that anything goes, add some statement earrings or a fun clutch or wear your most fabulous heels and you are ready for wherever your night takes you!

Who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle on New Year’s Eve? It’s that one time of the year when, no matter what you are doing, sparkles are totally acceptable! In fact the sparklier the better, right?! Personally I love a bit of sparkle and am currently obsessed with metallics so this low cut shimmery metallic dress really caught my eye. When accessorising a sequin or sparkly dress, do not over do it!! I opted for simple gold heels and only accessorised with a pair of simple earrings so as not to take away from the dress.

Well, that’s it from me for 2016! Thank you all for reading and showing your support this year, without you guys this blog would just be me sitting at my desk by myself sharing photos of myself and sharing fashion advice to myself.. and that would be pretty creepy! Wishing you all a safe and happy New Year and I will see you in 2017! xx
