Hey guys, welcome to another week! Hope everybody had a fabulous weekend. As I mentioned previously, I am in the process of building a new house. (*Head to my instagram stories now to get a little sneak peek of the new house! ) The completion date is looming which means so is… a big house move! To say I am not looking forward to that is an understatement. I mean, of course it will be all worth it in the end but at the moment I just can’t see past.. all the STUFF in my house that needs packing! Sooooo… I spent my weekend getting a head start on packing some of our lesser used items. We have such a busy next couple of weeks that we decided it was best to get started early to avoid last minute craziness..
Speaking of busy.. today I wanted to share with you a little bit about what else I have been up to. (Apart from packing that is!) As a fashion blogger, I get invited to a fair few events, so I thought it would be nice to do a little roundup of some of the ones I have been too lately.
Starting with the opening of Isle of Voyage, a new cafe/general store located right in the middle of Elizabeth Quay, and by the middle I mean on a little ‘island’ in the water with the BEST views of the city (and the BEST dessert menu too!) You can see some pics from the night on my facebook page here, if you like. Be warned though: they may make you drool!).
Last weekend me and my fellow Fit Club Perth gals hosted a fitness event with Classpass, we spent the morning hanging upside down in an aerial class and tasting super healthy vegan bites by Roark and Co at Rafters Mind Body Air. It was such a great morning to hang out with fellow fitness pals trying new fitness classes and.. well eat delicious food!
Last week I went along to two Spring/Summer launches.. Karrinyup Shopping Centre was up first and we were treated to a styling session with Romy Frydman from Style Me Romy and the super stunning Gemma Ward. We got a preview of some of the fun new Spring styles and trends in stores now.. which obviously now I need to buy!
The next night I trekked up to Ocean Keys Shopping Centre for their Spring/Summer launch. They had local stylist Des Eddy on hand to talk us through key pieces for the season including this season’s must have.. the slip dress!
The Telstra Perth Fashion Festival officially kicks off next week, but in the lead up there have been a few community events including yesterday’s Love Thread and Co launch. You may remember my post about the Love Thread Project recently? (If not, check it out here!). Love Thread and Co is the next step for this amazing team, launching a socially conscious fashion label. The even was so beautiful, and the dreamy pastel pieces in the collections were amazing, I can not wait until they are available to purchase later in the year!
So there you have it! Busy, busy.. and it is only getting busier this week and next! Follow my Instagram to get a little glimpse into some of the events on stories too!
