Happy Friday lovely ones!
Today I have part two of my two-part series, taking a look at how to style one of the Spring/Summer trends I’m loving: cut-outs! (Play catch up here with here with Part One, if you missed it!)
For today’s look I have gone for a dressier take on the trend. I teamed the black cut-out top from Witchery, with this floor length skirt by Asilio (which is now on sale here!!) The good thing about this skirt is that the slit is adjustable, which for someone with short legs (me!) is really handy.. showing a little bit of extra thigh helps to elongate the legs! A simple black pair of strappy heels (a wardrobe staple) and a black and white clutch, to tie in the rest of the outfit, completes the look!
Hopefully you are now ready to play peek-a-boo with your Spring wardrobe, although be sure to remember the keyword when trying this trend.. (10 points if you get it right… ?) Yes, SUBTLE! Keep the cut-outs subtle to avoid looking over exposed!
On a side note: just when I thought I couldn’t get anymore excited about all things Spring, on Wednesday night I attended the S/S 15 Launch at Karrinyup Shopping Centre. Talking us through all the new season trends was none other than Mandy from Oracle Fox!! One of the most creative and fashionable babes in the business! I was lucky enough to get a chance to have a chat and she actually blew me away with how genuine and down to earth she was. It is so nice meeting someone you idolise and finding out the are actually a lovely, normal person! Definitely feeling even more inspired than ever!!
