Recipe: Mixed Fruit Frozen Yoghurt

Frozen yoghurt recipe
Frozen banana, yoghurt and mixed berries

A bit of a fun post for a Friday.. (eating food is fun right?!)
Today I wanted to share with you one of my favourite healthy and super easy snacks, mixed fruit frozen yoghurt.
I have an incredible sweet tooth and spend a lot of my time resisting sugary treats, but if there is one food I just can not resist, it is ice cream.
Unfortunately, I am yet to meet a healthy ice cream I like, so I’ve had to make do with making my own.
Granted, it is no cookies and cream, but it is definitely delicious and certainly helps fight off those pesky sugar cravings.

Recipe:
1 x Frozen banana
1 x Cup of plain natural yoghurt
1 x Handful of mixed frozen berries
Put it in a blender and blend until smooth.
Optional: Add a healthy topping.. (I used chia seeds, coconut and blueberries!)

Simple. As. That.

You can even play around with different variations to suit your tastes, such as adding cinnamon, more berries, less banana or other frozen fruits.
Enjoy!!

Looks fantastic. I have a bit of a thing for coconut yoghurt at the moment but can’t get over how expensive it is.

This recipe sure is very good for the health of adults and young children like my sisters. Thanks for this suggestion.

Oooh I’m trying my best to eat better so I will need to give this recipe a go! I might substitute the banana though as I’m not too keen on it. Any suggestions of fruit that would give the same consistency?
    Lovely post and gorgeous photography!
